Team Management

Collaborate with your team by inviting members and managing their access to your analytics.

Overview

Invoker Analytics allows you to invite team members to collaborate on your sites. Each team member can have different roles with specific permissions, ensuring everyone has the right level of access.

Team Roles

There are three roles available for team members:

Owner
  • Full access to all features
  • Can delete the site
  • Can manage billing
  • Can invite/remove members
  • Can change member roles
Admin
  • View all analytics
  • Manage site settings
  • Create shared dashboards
  • Set up email reports
  • Invite new members
Viewer
  • View all analytics
  • Access dashboards
  • View shared reports
  • Cannot modify settings
  • Cannot invite members

Inviting Team Members

To invite a new team member:

  1. Navigate to your site's Team page from the sidebar
  2. Click the Invite Member button
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
  4. Select their role (Admin or Viewer)
  5. Click Send Invitation
Invitation Email

The invited person will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they don't have an Invoker account, they'll be prompted to create one first. Invitations expire after 7 days.

Managing Team Members

From the Team page, you can:

  • Change roles: Click the role dropdown next to a member to change their access level
  • Remove members: Click the remove button to revoke their access
  • Resend invitations: For pending invitations, you can resend the email
  • Cancel invitations: Remove pending invitations before they're accepted

Pending Invitations

When someone is invited but hasn't accepted yet, they appear in the "Pending Invitations" section. You can see:

  • The email address they were invited to
  • The role they'll receive when they accept
  • When the invitation was sent
  • Options to resend or cancel the invitation

Accepting Invitations

If you've been invited to a site:

  1. Check your email for the invitation
  2. Click the acceptance link in the email
  3. Sign in or create an account if you don't have one
  4. The site will appear in your dashboard automatically

You can also view and accept pending invitations from your Settings page under the "Invitations" tab.

Leaving a Team

If you want to remove yourself from a site you've been added to:

  1. Go to the site's Team page
  2. Click the Leave Team button at the bottom
  3. Confirm your decision

Best Practices

  • Use appropriate roles: Only give Admin access to people who need to modify settings
  • Regular audits: Periodically review team members and remove those who no longer need access
  • Use shared dashboards: For external stakeholders, consider using shared dashboards instead of team invitations
