Advanced Charts & Visualizations

Gain deeper insights with heatmaps, cohort analysis, conversion funnels, and period comparisons.

Traffic Heatmap
Visualize when your visitors are most active

The heatmap shows visitor activity by day of week and hour of day. Darker colors indicate higher traffic. Use this to:

  • Schedule content publishing at peak times
  • Plan maintenance during low-traffic periods
  • Understand global audience time zones
Cohort Retention
Track visitor retention over time

Cohort analysis groups visitors by when they first visited and tracks their return rate. Options include:

  • Daily: Day-over-day retention
  • Weekly: Week-over-week retention
  • Monthly: Month-over-month retention
Period Comparison
Compare metrics against previous periods

Compare your current performance against historical data to identify trends. Compare against:

  • Previous Period: Same length period immediately before
  • Previous Year: Same period last year

Metrics include pageviews, visitors, sessions, bounce rate, and average session duration.

Conversion Funnels
Track user journeys through your site

Build custom funnels to track conversion paths. Each step can be:

  • Pageview: A specific URL path
  • Event: A custom event name
  • Goal: A configured goal

See conversion rates and drop-off percentages at each step.
